THE YUMYUM TREE

As yet another fine, once unique band fades away into the ether...Ozric Tentacles has become the Wynne Family Collection of Odd Synth Sounds. The last two OT discs are lacking in several aspects...and their names are Egan, Seaweed, RAD, Hinton, Zia, Peplar....and all the other ex-OT's who added their own special touches to what was once an incredible source of imaginative sounds and musical trips. Ed Wynne has now become Ozric Tentacles, and although a very excellent and creative musician himself, cant maintain the past high...a pun...standard of their music alone backed-up by hardly capable musicians, who add little if nothing to the collective imput, when not being replaced by electronics. Maybe its time to put the Tentacles on the shelf, say good night, and leave us to some fine memories.
