5 stars Rick first got noticed for outstanding musicianship with the Strawbs but it was his the enigmatic contribution to Yes that made him a legend - first man to place multiple keyboards on top of each other. On "Six Wives" many of his Yes mates help with the heavy lifting so how could he fail really ? This album is still great with everything that you imagined a keyboard album should have. Not only is the playing superior but many of the themes are truly transcendent. After this masterpiece, "Journey to the centre..." and subsequent "spectaculars on ice" appeared to be aimed at a less discerning audience.
