4 stars The unfortunate thing about this band was they were gone in a flash. They were that good, in my humble opinion, they were worthy of at least 3 more albums in addition to the 3 they produced. Not as tight as Yes the musicians were granted relative freedom to express themselves. Tony Kaye's role is weak, strictly background keyboards which possibly explains his departure after their inaugural album. The highlight of this album is Dreams of Heaven which is incredible, the sort of track you could listen to all day - avant garde intro, powerful vocals, great guitar solos - brilliant stuff. Small beginnigs and Children of the Universe ain't bad either. The remaining two tracks are melodic and enjoyable. If you're a 70s Prog Rock freak like myself and missed out on this gem, give it a whirl.
