5 stars 1. I Robot with the signature APP, a prog intro as we imagine it, finally we listen before; there it is latent, spatial, stereo, religious choirs or higher; in short, a bass, a bold synth played as a duo, a tune like 'Amicalement votre', a captivating intro, piano keys playing out to a Sicilian sound, what more could you ask for! 2. I Wouldn't Want to Be Like You continues with a SURVIVOR-style intro, just the intro we agree; after that it grooves strongly, Lenny on vocals, yes there will be a parade of voices on this album; go for a little solo, a little WATERS-style break with this omni bass and 3. Some Other Time follows, Jaki and Peter on voices... nursery rhyme with ambient acoustic arpeggio, the kind of thing to listen to in the company of elves; chorus that surprises you, symphonic and warm, orchestral, purple marshmallow to set the tone... the color; a languorous keyboard then the fluid guitar of the EAGLES, it's all good; its grandiloquent and intimate at the same time, just to move your ears and put you on alert once again 4. Breakdown and Peter singing, it doesn't stop I tell you, different voices; different air bass forward and choirs which bring on a pop-rock side with progressive scents, the most APP to mix to bring the audience to listen to prog without fear; and the unjustifiable rejection of progueux in want of his used vintage who does not understand this openness; in short, a... breakdown of open-mindedness; ah these majestic choirs which arise, which rise, which make your spine wet; grandiloquent, majestically symphonic, we couldn't do better, yes! 5. Don't Let It Show is proof of this, organ of the times, Dave with a beautiful spleen voice and the hit that will be played on the radio and will make the hair of profuse fundamentalists fall out; ah this refrain, simple, Anglican, hushed, romantic, lover, ah this bass which makes recalcitrant hearts vibrate for the love song certainly; break anyway APP is not APP for nothing and a prog slope, a little castanet spring in the distance, flights of violins, at one point APP reminded me of the ELO for that, not for nothing 6. The Voice begins 2nd side so a little trippy intro; metronomic tune with flights of sirens, very close to musical limbo, research which sets off on a groovy, jazzy, funky sound with these violins in battle order, confusing and interesting and final wow wow plaintive, we hear NASA voice-overs from PINK FLOYD yes so 7. Nucleus obviously follows, on an instrumental at the beginning of 10CC for the angelic choirs, then I understand why the great Steve WILSON loved APP's work... go listen to 'The sky moves' you will understand! 8. Day After Day (Show Must Go On) we stay on it, the prog is there then the melancholy-melodic variation occurs; day after day we come across a sweet tune, Harlequin candy, a lollipop that we carelessly chew without thinking of the world around us; the pop ballad which denotes a little keeping its innocent freshness from start to finish; That's good, we're starting to hear 9. Total Eclipse for a cinematic sound before its time, a sound from 2001, a sound coming from behind the ring of Jupiter, a completely crazy sound from where the sound no longer passes, a sound with trumpets, yes we are well in the antechamber of Heaven; APP found a way to get us there; we feel the new title again with 10. Genesis Ch. 1 V. 32 which extends, closes, continues to make us dream; choirs, drums which drop their pads in cascade, guitar and 'The New Philharmonia Chorus' to finalize, amplify the emotional aspect of this album which was still an OMNI at the time, whatever people say.
