Among the several releases of OFFERING, this is from my point of view the most representative. Offering masterpieces are gathered here and the versions given are among the best (compared to official releases and any bootlegs i could have hear). "Another day" version is undoubtely the best and most powerfull ever released.

The live atmosphere suits better this music as it's largely improvised. I like also the way the tunes are connected, powerfull pieces and more intamate ones, improvised and written parts. We can fell a real will to build a consistent show instead of only play tunes one after the other.

This album will give you a good overview of Offering material and a taste of what was going on on stage at that time. Offereing raised his peak of creativity and interplay. Moreover, this album is the best example of the astonishing vocal capabilities of Christian Vander
