5 stars GENESIS in real life! 1. Watcher of the Skies for the guitar shears and the solemn strike on the different keyboards, yes don't mark synth since that will be much longer; this climb yes but don't forget this intro which had been imagined as an intro for a concert; the finale, yes these keyboard notes which leave you speechless and Phil's drums which have an effect, an apocalyptic must this title, and I remind you that it is much heavier than one might believe, a futuristic sound pleasantly attacking our ears 2. Get 'em Out by Friday...good evening and let's go; the second track from the last album of 72, yes some would have wanted a supper's ready on it, yes but: a cult album wants to be rare, short to create the lack too; Peter next to the organ then Steve's spleen guitar for a fabulous break halfway through, a hesitant tune, vibrant with his touch, the flute and the audience religiously listening.... of genetic control, that There Peter takes the reins; the end already with this riff that makes my hair stand on end, one more slap 3. The Return of the Giant Hogweed for the first of two nursery titles from 71; a track that I love and that I listened to live first, a track that doesn't give off the power transcribed in the studio; it must be said that I listened to the album in one go like a musical book; the exception there is always an exception, Steve's squirted notes highlighted here; well the most Tony's organ which flows and this guitar on the left which provokes you, which swells, which passes to the right, which turns constantly, ah the good old days of analog sound without pomp... and this explosive finale, hard, yes I dare to write it, real musical violence and a little pinching at the end of the face!

4. The Musical Box, let's go again after changing the LP and putting the cover back on our knees; 4 minutes already, have you also seen the time pass so quickly? it accelerates, frenetic passage, break with this famous tick-tock what more can we write... we wait for the explosion, yes I remind you that we are not on a regressive and soporific sound like we found so often these days; here it's high, it's machine-gunning, it's orgasmic pleasure; the arpeggio to settle before the grand symphonic finale, grandiloquent and the majestic organ which accompanies the priest, the archangel Peter downright, slaps again 5. The Knife for the only title from 70, the one which made me look towards prog metal very quickly... have you noticed this hellish train? you noticed this violence in this title, Phil yes very great drummer don't forget; the knife is the endless climb, it's the incandescent lava that falls from the stage, it's the break at 3 minutes with still a latent spleen air to make you drool; the break then the restart, the whistles, Steve in his seated corner gives you convoluted solos in tune; 2 minutes left and that's it, this drum-guitar roll, this keyboard and the noisy, aggressive, lacerated finale, who said GENESIS was soft??

A cult live, nothing else to say!
