5 stars Live Album: 1. Astronomy Domine for the rise that captures attention from the start; the drums that get carried away, the guitar stamped psychedelic of the 60s with its riff and the keyboards; the barred voices, the choirs, the cinematic before its time; a zest of organ from the time when Pink were avant-garde, this organ that seeks in the meanders of your cortex a favorable outcome for this sound elsewhere; yes you had to be perched high at the time to admire that; 2. Careful with That Axe, Eugene that I listened to on 'Zabriskie Point' at the beginning! A slow, distressing introduction, the hypnotic bass, the drifting of the senses, the throbbing organ then this cry from elsewhere before the sonic surge; the cymbals vibrate, the sound of 'The Wall' already lethargic here; Gilmour tears out his guitar, curses it, crushes it, progressive stoner hard rock before its time; return to calm finally with reverberating organ and guitar, great art, much more innovative than what is happening today; ah how I would have liked to be in front of the stage 3. Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun with this bis intro, latent, invasive, mysterious, I would say mystical with this Egyptian organ, symbolizing the crossing of a caravan in the desert, a term that I had already used for the 'Ricochet' of TANGERINE DREAM. The bewitched voice therefore, the crescendo which wants to be more incisive, letting the 3rd then the 4th gear pass; the space created makes one think of a multi-glass in fact where we would see ourselves acting in parallel through a prism window, hold on the famous prism? In short it is really crazy psychedelic and unhronifiable; the end is even crazier in fact 4. Saucerful of Secrets arrives, the plane in the distance, moment when I thought of the aliens leaving the earth to devastate; in short I digress; this latent, linear and archaic sound, this organ, these sounds on the edge of the inaudible to bring the drums into a torrid, frenetic air, and confirm that Nick had his part in the success of the nascent group; as for Richard his final performance is Art, the one that leaves the listener stunned; yes at that time we were on the exceptional, do not forget it.

Studio Album: 5. Sysyphus in 4 parts with the intro Nick as the hero, then Richard on the piano for a cinematic wandering yes; come on the piano sharpens during the 3rd part, goes crazy, the screams behind, the jungle, destabilizing; the last quarter more pompous with a melting pot of everything, with the Olympian finale, a precursor in the genre, do not forget it 9. Grantchester Meadows, land on it since on 'Atom' and 'Meddle' there will be these bucolic ditties, revolutionary at the time, ideal like many to come and listen to in an auditorium before buying your Hi-Fi system; that alone is worth it; today even the geese accompanying the larks would be obsolete 10. Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict... A vos souhaits... comes to continue this life-size orchestra; percussions, screams, 'am ba taom ba' and other analogies, distressing portmanteau words to create your own listening universe, your escape; in short, furiously disturbing 11. Narrow Way, in 3 parts with acoustics at the start; how many times have you listened to it, how many times have you strummed it one evening thinking you were going to make your fiancée vibrate? The air becomes psychedelic, it was the original voice of the Floyds, don't forget that too; in short, the sound always in space, between Aldebaran and Cassiopeia, yes I remember bits of my fabulous dissertation; last third and the psychedelic-romantic ballad, grandiloquent and crescendic; the sound is dated, but memories of more than 40 years seem to remain very young in memory 14. Grand Vizier's Garden Party in 3 parts with the flute at the entrance, bucolic as desired and announcing the drum roll; let's go with this moment, the one we will see again with more pleasure in Pompeii; the rumbling of the drums that runs out of steam, going to check the connections, that was Pink Floyd, to be surprised; a classic of the old days, an avant-garde experiment at the time that will surprise more than one; well my chain is well adjusted personally; let's go a little flute to finish.
