4 stars 1 Cannonball hop here we go, piano and energetic groove, the tempo that follows the piano, basic latency and Rick's voice from now on; the rhythm with orchestral samples, the metronomic rhythm yes but too repetitive, it's not GENESIS who wants with their melodic 'Abacab' above all; the laughter yes but that's not enough to fill Roger's departure; and then the sax wasn't as sexy as that in the 80s; good but it lacks a solo; well a year before Roger had released his much more supertrampian solo album and there it's the cold shower and it's not the cinematic sequence with 2 Still In Love and its languorous sax that will make me change my mind; ah yes; the frantic rhythm, almost syncopated with these dancing brasses which move, the prog is dead OK but there are still progressive sounds like in this enjoyable opening and its melting unfolding 3 No Inbetween arrives, piano yes but sumptuous piano, progressive; the latent note which waits to hum a little more, the delicate synth, yes SUPERTRAMP is reborn, continues, in short they are still there; one of the most refined melodies, the most progressive with piano at the bar 4 Better Days follows the little extra; piano and prog intro, Dantesque, souvenir sequence with the cinematic of 'Fools' and other pieces, symphonic drums, it rumbles, excellent, divine and...1'10 of happiness; ouch this tune bis repetita of cannonball no... Phew no the explosion arrives suddenly, immense, drum roll, Gilmourian guitar... in the distance which tears off, the foot; the JETHRO TULL flute cools down a bit, it was good before, anyway let's continue; another explosion and then the sound goes on a slightly exploded variation, between voiceover, twirling sax, on an improvised jam; the drums pull out all the stops but what an excellent title this could have been without this musical hubbub, anyway not bad at all as an attempt

5 Brother Where You Bound .. I changed sides, it cracks even though it was a cassette, ah the smart guys; intro to listen to before; the cinematic is SUPERTRAMP that's good, well Rick's piano is too linear, but it allows to bring crazy atmospheres just in continuity; the drums, the guitar looking for its solo, it rises, SUPERTRAMP is there; the first 7 minutes are just enjoyable between progressive cascade and symphonic rush, David GILMOUR's guitar comes to extinguish any fire of protest; the voice ah the voice also takes off, it's perfect; 9mn and the fear with this jazzy jam variation à la KING CRIMSON, 10mn and the footsteps announce the end of this piece with the aerial drums of bob a great one, the crystalline bass, Rick's keyboard which is his strong point; 13mn and the jazzy piano comes to make its finale as if nothing had happened; a progressive mix this piece which dared the 1/4 hour in 1985, low profile; the guitar which vibrates until the end and which delivers the coup de grace in the absence of the final blow, a must with Scott GORHAM in the bag do not forget it 6 Ever Open Door comes to conclude gently on an arpeggio...piano this album quite controversial, simple and solemn, a romantic-sad ballad to rest the ears, do not miss it.(4.5)
