5 stars 1. Red Rain intro PG, or world finally you have grasped, captivating and full of meaning; the chorus is just perfect, hoarse and pleasant voice; the air... a supercharged rock ballad, you know with the presence of Mr Cadbury, more sounds, more tones, more sensitivity and a slow monotony which ends 2. Sledgehammer intro it cracks, twirling flute, Ushuaïa style and here we go; bass, drum pad, musical infusion on the way; don't hesitate to immerse yourself in the clip even if you're not much of an MTV fan; the flute suddenly returns after the frantic rhythm, ah the two cooked turkeys, Peter walking levitating, in short, rhythm and the opportunity to have a popular title, finally 3. Don't Give Up for the characteristic bass, for the delicate piano, for the return of Kate yes the same as on Games, her performance still as remarkable; she sings for a long time and both of them are entwined and it's beautiful, now I find the voice important; a suave title, a title where the progression is in the unfolding, in the waiting; the last minute will take place on a slow tribal variation 4. That Voice Again for the title goes everywhere with again and again additional sounds which fill the musical atmosphere, the electric piano, the choirs of 'Birdy' in the background, varied and complex this piece, well done, at the limit of the dancing title, a shame for the one who co-created the progressive movement far from the festive variety 5. In Your Eyes ... unrepeatable, In your eyes is in your eyes the title that you stand up, you strike a pose and you start the chorea, you move, you want to come on stage, to participate ... yes that's it, this very simple title in itself brings vibrations into your body, the piano reminds me from afar of the synthetic sounds of magical Apsaras; African tribal finale with these voices and these percussions, everything seems simple 6. Mercy Street (for Anne Sexton) with the darkest intro in a long time, Birdy ah just last year then; a slow preparation to dive into the story, a sound composed to soar, dream, hope and be captivated alone in this dreamlike world; how can such a simple rhythm, such a distinct bass, a piano à la DIRE STRAITS give off such warmth? Come on, we'd say we're at the port of 'Local Hero', waiting for the Russian boat; Peter uses his voice as an instrument and transports us 7. Big Time (Success) for one of the craziest clips there is; whether we like it or not, it helped the success of this still danceable title, dancing like these corny creatures shaped in the clip; the rhythm means that we don't know where to put our ears, the sounds twirl around and pack down all the notes of each instrument at the bottom of our anvil; big time that's it I'm going to have the chorus in my head! 8. We Do What We're Told (Milgram's 37) for the finale, on an inverted Intruder; sharp piano notes that collide with the pad, a launched bass note tearing the air from the room, well it's not the E5-150, nor the 10CC hit, nor the minimalist music of REICH or that from GLASS, but, but it's damn well done; it increases like that surreptitiously, it's just perfect in fact, ah I love this one, even if I wouldn't have liked it 9. This Is the Picture (Excellent Birds) with Laurie on vocals helping Peter for the minimalist, simplistic title that I didn't have at the start; yes in K7 you were fooled you had to buy the CD otherwise nada; short some time later I come across it, on a de facto CD and I validate, bewitching title not to put to a friend having the dance of St Guy.
