IT'S KIND OF YOU TO ASK

An interesting release, full of melodic neo progressive songs. Although it all sounds a bit familiar, it is hard to compare this band with others. It gives a bit of a Landmarq-feeling here and there. There is much space for electric guitar and there are some lush keyboard solo´s, an the soft-toned voice of Huw fits the music. However, despite some good moments there are not enough brilliant ideas to lift this release up above average. Sometimes it is even a bit boring and shows the same problems of so many neo-progressive songs the last years. All in all, interesting for the neo-progressive fan, not recommended for those avoiding this type of prog.
