WELCOME BACK MY FRIENDS TO THE SHOW THAT NEVER ENDS

I don't know why this record is so underrated here at Progarchives. Every band has their best moment and some launched a live album that portrays it for the history. This is ELP's document of their best musical and creative time. Also it has a very emotional meaning for me. I was a teenager and in my country Costa Rica it was almost impossible to get this kind of music unless you traveled abroad. But I saw this album on a record store at the incredibly high price of 350 colones (about 40 dollars of 1976). So I have to save for weeks and finally got my treasure. I played the LPs hundreds of times and when it came the CD version I was very pleased to hear Tarkus without those horrible cuts. I'm still impressed hearing the highliths of the concert, like Palmer's solo on Toccata or Emerson's ultrafast fingers on Piano improvistions. The instrumental crescento on Aquatarkus. The brilliant opening with Hoedown, and the great closing with Karn Evil 9. This is one of the five best alltime live albums. I will give it 6 points if it's possible.
