2 stars In 1970 Led Zeppelin decided to work on their next album in Welsh cottage Bron - Yr - Aur. It's lovely place really. Too lovely to concentrate on work. I love British folk music and I think Jethro Tull is one of the greates bands on earth. But Page isn't Anderson. I don't even want to know what guys of Led Zeppelin were doing there and how much fun they had composing this album. But I know one thing. It's not even in 10% that good as Jehtro Tull's Benefit from the same year. Of course III it's still a bit hard rockcish stuff not completely filled with folk music ideas. Immigrant Song sounded much better live in 1972 but even on this album it's still quite good song. Since I've Been Loving You long boring blues. I know it's the most popular track on the album but to me it doesn't sound any good. Gallows Pole and Tangerine are pretty nice folk tunes but still not satisfying enough. Bron Yr Aur Stomp it's terrible song that was probably pure improvisation. I'm not getting it. This album doesn't deserve more that 2.5 stars. I don't think I'll ever become Led Zeppelin fan.
