ESCAPE [AKA: E5C4P3]

To the best of my knowledge, Journey is listed on this site because of some of their earlier work, which I have not really listened to. The only album I own by Journey is Escape, which features their well known hit, Dont Stop Believing. Is this album prog? Not at all. While it is mainstream rock that a prog fan may enjoy, I am hardpressed to find anything in their music that I would call prog. I do enjoy listening to this album once in a while and if I'm going to have to listen to music that other people enjoy, I could do a lot worse. Plus, most people need a break from prog now and then to listen to some catchy music. They are some pretty good musicians, and I definitely can enjoy listening to this album to a point. However, since this album is not prog at all I cannot give it more than 2 stars on progarchives.
