This was studio album number two for this Psychedelic band hailing from Greece. I have reviewed the self-titled followup which in my opinion is much ether than this one. Still if your into Psychedelic music you should check this band out. "Indigo" was released in 1990 and for me there's one track that stands out above the rest and that's "Golden Eyes". A very "Saucerful Of Secrets" type of track and I suppose that's the drawback of it in that it's the least original sounding of the songs but also the best sounding one to my ears. It's dark and spacey and even the vocal style brings FLOYD to mind."Moonlight Sunshine" is too commercial sounding in my opinion and not the best track to lead things off. "Cosmic Ladder" is better and I like that spacey chorus. Nice guitar solo too after 1 1/2 minutes, very relaxed. We get a organ solo after 3 1/2 minutes to end it. "Suite For A Sunshine Day" has these almost marching styled drums with keys over top but then the organ takes over. I really like the sound late as they slow it down some and it turns more serious sounding with organ, guitar and drums standing out. "Rain Without Storm" opens with what sounds like classical guitar and flute then vocals arrive before a minute. Back to the guitar and flute and then what sounds like strings and a classical vibe after 4 1/2 minutes. "White Colours" opens with bass and keys as cymbals and organ join in. Vocals follow and I do like this one. Flute too then some nice guitar before 4 minutes as the drums pound. "(Shady Reflections At The) Magic Forest" ends it and it starts with what sounds like harpsichord as vocals join in. Classical sounding again. We actually get male and female vocals this time. It sounds better when the tempo picks up before 3 minutes and check out the organ before 5 minutes. A 3 star album in my world and I'll stick with their self titled release from 1994.
