This is Rush's 2nd best album behind Moving Pictures. Even though it was made in the 70's, the music has a timeless and energetic quality rarely found in today's music. I don't care for story-telling songs, but the music is so good that you don't care that it takes 20:34 to deliver track one. The emotion, honesty and effort put into this album is unparalleled. The shorter tracks are also good, although I could have done without the speaker-on, speaker-off experiements of "The Twilight Zone". The tempos are varied and interesting and the feel is upbeat and hopeful.
