THE WAY TO US

It's five years since ECHOES OF GIANTS prominent debut album 'At The End Of Myself' earned much of critical acclaim. The late Summer 2018 saw a successor 'The Way To Us' which is a collection of four long epics, each one having multiple movements and sharing a lyrical storyline that runs throughout. As starting point, I would say that EOG haven't lost anything of their sensitive, tranquil and comfortable musical style. The sonic flavour still retains a true magic. Filled with dreamy, romantic atmosphere, CD 'The Way To Us' is pretentious yet relevant, accessible and fresh, unconventional while also familiar. The excellent instrumental meanderings, beautiful vocals and nice harmonies are perfectly crafted and orchestrated to develop the musical animation for the common message. For this new record, the permanent line-up (Tracy Thomas, Wes Bolton, Rick Kaufmann, Joey Myers) is rounded out by female singer Theese Weber adding vocals. To put in short, a second step in the project evolution is utterly delightful and if you've a grave interest in Echoes Of Giants, you need to get this disc... Recommended.
