PHANTOM ON THE HORIZON

This EP caught me surprisingly off guard. My friend from Georgia and I were talking when he told me about this EP and how good it was. I of course downloaded it, as physical copies are basically all gone now. Let me tell you, if you ever, for a second, doubted this bands progressiveness, then go out and listen to this now. It is an absolute masterpiece. Clocking in at a little over 35 minutes, its a short listen, but it makes for an amazing replay value. The record has a little jazz, a little rock. I found it had an overwhelming Mars Volta influence on it. There are even a few sections reminiscent of Godspeed You! Black Emperor.
