A successor to Oxygene that can hold on its own. A lot of textures, nice keyboard layers. This album is more reflective than Oxygene and almost a masterpiece but still missing more complexity and ideas. The melodies are strong and sometimes catchy. Although there are influences of Tangerine Dream and other progressive electronic artists, it is a quite accessible effort and once you try to play it on the keyboards yourself, you will see that the chords are not difficult to recognize :-) It would have been a pleasure to have all these analog keyboards around and play on them! A very fine record and second of his three best ones.
