3 stars Eventually this is the only Asia album really worth buying.

The John Wetton period is the period with the most poppy albums, Astra and Alpha are just horrid arena- rock/aor albums.

This one is different, it seems like all the creativity is caramelized in this album. Don't expect UK-ish fusion/prog music but it's still good.

Combine Yes, ELP and the smokey voice of John Wetton and that's what you can expect. Heavy, over-the-top arrangments with layers of keyboards and lost and lots of different guitarsounds. Hardhitting Palmer does what he does best. Even the songwriting is prog enough to be a true progrock album. It's a shame they never could top this one.
