HEADS OR TALES

One of the top albums in the Saga catologue. A lot of these songs are pop-rock structures, but the soloing is outstanding. Saga always managed to turn seemingly easylistening popsongs into well crafted heavy prog. Songs like Flyer and Social Orphan are straight-on heavy rock. Intermission is beautiful dramatic ballad with an excellent guitarsolo in the end section.

For instance, Pitchman is filled with keyboard and guitarsolos, wich are un-equalled. On the lp there's not an extended version of Catwalk, but on cd there is. The 4 minute song is streched into an almost 8 minute song with extended guitarsolo by Ian.
