GOOD APOLLO, I'M BURNING STAR IV, VOLUME ONE - FROM FEAR THROUGH THE EYES OF MADNESS

I usually don't leave reviews, but I am inspired to write a review of this album. I understand that this band can be classifiably progressive with the conceptual flow of the lyrics from album to album. I praise the band for doing this, that is great. As far as the musicianship goes this band belongs in a neo-punk/emo genre. This album displays painfully disappointing writing. The guitar riffs are so repetitive and forgettable. The sections of the suites seem to have no connection to one another. In actuality this band is like a sci-fi novel put to emo music. If that seems like something that interests you then by all means check it out. As far as my own taste goes, the lack of creativity that this band displays composition-wise is unlike any other band I have found on this website.
