5 stars I can't tell you how much I love this album. This represented a major turaround in Jethro Tull's music at the time to a more folky feel, although they never really equalled it again after (although Heavy Horses was close). There are some rocky bits thrown in (eg Hunting Girl) A truly terrific blend of folk-rock-prog, with a song you always hear in the shops every Christmas time (Ring out those bells...) - always makes me smile. I was quite offended one day that when playing Velvet Green someone said that sounds like the theme-tune to Black adder. I can tell you this album is much better than that. The vocal harmonising is very good throughout, and the acoustic instrumental stuff - well, terrific!

Very enchanting music, never to be forgotten...
