3 stars This is probably one of my least favourite Zappa albums that I have heard and I have heard over 20 Zappa albums. It's not bad. It's just not as tightly structured as music I normally listen to. Still a lot better than Cruising with Ruben and the Jets. The music on this album is pretty varied and often improvisational. There are tons of weird noise and vocal experimentation. Some songs start with fine melodies but get very cacophonous like Toads pf the short forest for example. This album starts strongly with Didja get any onya. It is quite free jazz like song but it has very some great weird vocals and slow melodic section of the song is quite beautifull. Directly from my heart to you is pretty entertaining but not brilliant. Third song has the best tittle and is one of the album's key moments for me. I think it is one of the best jokes in popular music ever. It makes me smile everytime I hear it. It starts with saxophone prelude and then it becomes just insane laughter and strange opera singing experimentation backed up with some loose structured music. It's just insane and funny.

Toads of the short forest starts with nice melody but after that it is just uninteresting cacophony. Get a little is simply quite boring quitar instrumental it surely hasn't the magic of Watermelon in easter hay or Nine types of industrial polution. Dwarf Nebula professional march & Dwarf Nebula is another song that starts with nice melody and then changes into strange tape effects. Better than Toads of the short forest actually. Next three songs are all good but not amazing. My guitar wants to kill your mama is a hard rocking song with a good riff, Oh no has a very memorable melody and Orange County lumber truck is pretty tunefull with some nice quitar work. Still a version that can be found on Ahead of their time is far superior. That is the best way to enjoy Orange County lumber truck. Unfortunately album closes with the tittle track Weasels ripped my flesh which is simply as much noise as you can get as fast as possible track. That tune hasn't anything to offer. While a good album it is still one of Zappa's weaker releases and doesn't come even close to be as brilliant as Uncle meat or Grand wazoo or Burnt weeny sandwich.
