4 stars I got a copy of this album when it was released but have never had access to the details of the musicians involved.......until now! I always assumed the vocals on this album to be John Whetton. That's Jeff Berlin? Spooky, man, tho' I did think JW's bass playing had improved considerably! Surely, the vocals are secondary when the bass playing is THAT good ! Likewise with John Clark. Always assumed it was Holdsworth! (So pat yourself on the back!). What I DO like about this album is the disassociation with musical styles from that period. I can't really hear any other influences, only Bruford! (well, maybe a hint of National Health and Hatfield and the North) but cerainly no YES. It's always been a fave album of mine and always will be ! Bruford rocks !!!!!!!!!!
