4 stars When it comes to neo-prog I tend like the live albums better than the studio albums. This case is certainly true for bands like The Flower Kings, who did their best work on stage. However, with IQ, it's different. Here, as I listen to this album, I just yearn for the intricacies displayed on the studios that are a little absent from their live performances. I am not saying that this double length live album is bad, it's just comes off a little weaker to me than their studio albums. For this reason alone, I'd stick with Ever, or The Wake. With these two albums you will have better versions of the songs, the way the were meant to sound.
