MERCATOR PROJECTED

This album deserves a lot more credit than what is received. First off, it's a wonderful album - challenging, and innovative from beginning to end. Second, it was recorded about the same time as KC's In the Court of the Crimson King, and has probably been as much of an influence on latter experimental rock as that album or the earlier works of Jazz artists such as Miles Davis or John Coltrane. I highly recommend this album both as a purely enjoyable listening experience and as a way to better understand the foundations of progressive rock.
