5 stars This is a true prog folk album. First song is genuinely folk and one can sense the value of this amazing group and what is about to follow. Songs 2 - 6 are the yearly seasons represented in an original form. Nunta (The Wedding) is a very dynamic piece, and it was actually sung by my friends at my wedding. Negru Voda is a balad about a Romanian prince that fought to defend the country. Its upbeat style made it get a lot of radio time. Pseudomorgana is a subtle song, totaly instrumental, that you can't help not to listen to it repeatedly. This album started the most inspiational period inthe history of the group. Perhaps that's why many reviewers consider it the best. As about my own opinion? I still believe that Cantafabule is the pinacle of Phoenix' creation, although Cei ce ne-au dat nume is quite remarkable as well.
