4 stars Zappa wrote a lot of strange works, some of them are simply crazy. Well, I think this is one of the oddest, of the most dissonant he's ever recorded. Weasels... doesn't stand on his feet, he has a too fragile equilibrium to be listened at any moment. This one needs a perfect concentration, similar to the one that London Symphony Orchestra needs. The only moment where you can relax is the famous rock'n'roll track My guitar wants to kill your mama. For the rest, it's not easy to appreciate Weasels.... You'll have to listen to it at least 3 times to understand how it works, with his modern-orchestral pieces. In the end, you will like it. And will surely deserve 4 stars, for its extremely complicated lines.
