THE POLITE FORCE

This is a great album. It is too bad this band did not release more albums. I just cant stop listening to this. Vocally Monte Campbell sounds a bit like Jim Morrison at times. However there is not much singing on this album. Which for me is usually a plus. Dave Stewart's organ sound resembles that of Keith Emerson at times and Mike Ratledge at others. Egg incorporates both sounds beautifully. The highlight has to be the final song Long Piece #3 clocking in at over 20 minutes. It is broken into 4 parts on the CD release. Get this album!!!
