5 stars For prog folk fans, this album may well be the best in the genre. The mix of folk motives (lyrically and musically), medieval melodies and the great quality of every musician of the group (which, for some had at the time its best line-up) makes this a landmark record. Let's not forget the difficulty of blending the usually constrainted rythm signatures of folk music with prog, and specially Tull style (Barrimore Barlow shines in this LP by the way). The first of of an almost-trilogy of folk related Tul albums, its follow up 'Heavy Horses' is also great.
