3 stars Trisector can't be considered a real VDGG work. Jackson is not there, and three members are really few for a band that was based on sax and voice. Maybe Present was a bit long, but the quality of the compositions was really high, like Godbluff or Still life. Now the sound is still good, but only for someone who has never listened to a masterpiece like Pawn Hearts. If you know well VDGG, you cannot be so satisfied about Trisector. It is simply incomplete, there's a part of the sound missing. There are 3- 4 really good tracks, but the rest is simple, there's no search for the old sound that characterized the band. Arguably the worst VDGG work... And it's a pity, because they can still do a lot, but three of them aren't enough.
