3 stars An inebriated Wyatt fell from a third floor window on 1 July 1973, during an alcohol fueled party for Gong's Gilli Smyth and June Campbell Cramer (also known as Lady June) at the latter's Maida Vale home. If this concert was recorded on June 1st 1974, Wyatt could not have played drums on it, he was in a wheelchair for this time. However, the album is very interesting, Kevin Ayers is the real figure of this weird band, and his songs are much more better than the Eno tracks. The Cale version of Heartbreak Hotel is so good as bizarre, and the Nico's The End is just interesting, but no much more. Good concert, but donīt expect a fusion between Velvet Underground & Soft Machine. Maybe with Reed & Ratledge...
