AIRCONDITIONING

'Air Conditioning' is not only the debut of Curved Air but especially the first 'picture disc' entered in the charts. Certainly the merit is the voice and the beauty of Sonja Kristina. But, in truth, the merit is represented from one of the Prog evergreen: 'Vivaldi', a Venetian Romantic Baroque Rock song from violin played by Darryll Way. 'Vivaldi' IS the song for violin of XXth Century. And the other songs? Great 'It Happened Today', sure emotional rock but the other songs are typical 70's Prog songs. So only 'Vivaldi With Cannons' (That is the theme of 'Vivaldi' with the added circus cannons) is at the same level. In any case great sound production and good songs. Marginal note: Curved Air is one of the most famous 70's Prog band... But... For the music, for Sonja Kristina or Darryll Way and his violin in 'Vivaldi'?
