5 stars A Masterpiece! Yes, they did it again. The first three albums were already great and expectations were high, but they did meet the expectations and did even better than that. Especially after reading the booklet included in the special edition one can appreciate the lyrics of the songs together with the beautiful melodies and arrangements. So, all you folks, get the special edition! For those born around 1960 it's a joy to read the whereabouts of the main character. For me (1961) I recognize myself in many ways. Buying Prog records and completely indulging in the music (my first album was a Yes album, too). Then the interest in Punk and sorts in the eighties. The description of the concerts (and the toilets) are all very recognizable, and bring back good memories. But also his writing about the present time, with wife and child(ren), that do not appreciate his (mine) music. I even thought he must have read my review of Close To The Edge at this site, because I mentioned the Carpenters in this review and in his booklet he writes that he likes them too. And there's a short sentence about the Dutch Progressive Rock Page! Well, it's of course the music that sets the score. And it is brilliant (again). And even if the music is sometimes a bit uninspired (in A Tale Of Two Souls, to my opinion) the lyrics are convincing, real and sometimes even throat-grabbing. The Full Gamut might do that to you. I think this album might become another classic in Progressive Rock. For me, a beautiful time lies ahead, listening over and over again while dreaming back in time.
