5 stars I bought this album when I was like 14, after Aqualung had blown me away, and frankly I did not quite undestand it at the time, because it's not progressive at all - I'd call it jazz- rock or something, but it's been my favorite Tull record for many years. I just love it, never ever got bored of it. I'm really very fond of this first albums by prog bands, like Supertramp, Pink Floyd, even Yes,which are rejected by the puritans. This jewel tells you whether you have a heart or you are just a nerd. Of course the best thing about it is the sound, warmer than anything in prog rock, and the guitar, similar to Yes's first one too - I mean, jazz-blues guitar, not classical or rock, long solos and all. Simply beautiful, and so short.
