5 stars Things I Don't Understand: Why doesn't every Prog music lover own this album?

This album essentially is the darker, and heavier version of Ashes are Burning. This album awes me with the same beauty as the previous album, but with more power and depth. The songs aren't as fluffy and happy anymore, so be aware, if thats what you like, you're in for one of the greatest musical treats of the Prog world.

Just like on the previous album, the first and last tracks are my absolute, to die for favourites. These tracks; Running Hard and Mother Russia carry the most power and mysterious darkness to them. It is worth buying the album just for these two tracks. In between those two famed tracks, is alot of Annie Haslam signing with acoustic guitar, and piano perks, the more pretty stuff.

If you enjoy Renaissance albums, and don't own this sucker, it has Buy Me! written all over it!
