DARK SIDE OF THE MOON

A, and yet another Dream Theater cover album, but wait, this is on dvd, and its not for nothing. Here Dream Theater does the hardest live presentation of a cover album, and does it with stupendous quality, needing samplers only for the watches, something they obviously could not make with their instruments.

From beginning to end, the album is the absolute copy of Dark Side in all its features, characteristics and nuances. The highlights here are to Jordan Rudess and his amazing ability to remake the exacts noises and notes on on the run with his wardrobe - moog, something he loved to do.

Overall Rating: besides being the exact copy of Dark Side, for obvious reasons, i will not give it the 5 star grade, worthing the show itself only 3.5 stars, and, because of it, 3 stars. However the special features give this dvd here some extra boost and rose its grade, to me, to 4 stars. Rock on Dream Theater!
