3 stars I actually prefer beat to this album, but I know that prog fans might prefer this one, because the second half is so much better because of its progginess to them. Oh how they are mistaken. Deny it they may, but looking at the reviews for this album and beat, many here are very elitest. As a matter of fact, King Crimson recorded some of the best pop ever. Playful, catchy, and idiosyncric, King Crimsin pop is a treat to behold. This isn't essential to a prog collection, but it is an excellent addition to any open minded pop fan's collection. Sleepless has a very groovy bass line, belew is an awesome singer on all of the songs. It would be pointless to go through all the songs one by one, many other's have already done so. This is worthy of any king crimson, and any pop fan, but some prog elitests might want to avoid this.
