THE PYRAMID OF THE RAIN

Cast is one of the best contemporary progressive rock bands - along with French TV, Garden Wall, Porcupine Tree/Steven Wilson and Opeth, to name just a few. I have all the official studio releases by Cast (received them directly from the band - for review), and I must note one should have a high IQ to dig most of the albums they released in the new millenium, especially "Al-Bandaluz", "Nimbus" and "Mosaique", all of which are underrated here. Well, this is not a review actually, even though I have heard "Pyramid Of The Rain". The point is that this is a compilation which, according to (band leader) Alfonso Vidales, was never sent out as a promo. Why it is placed among the band's full-fledged studio albums is completely beyond me. In other words, it should be removed from that section.
