5 stars This album is simply stunning. I am truly at a loss for words on what to say about these songs. They deliver so much emotion, so much power, so much sheer musical muscle, more so than any other band I have heard in a long time. Their sound can be compared to Mastodon, especially the vocals, which resemble an angry shout, and the crushing nature of their music.

I will not go into specific songs in this review; this album is to be enjoyed at full volume, from start to finish. However, my favorite song is Isak, for the great powerful vocals. The album starts and ends very heavy, with a great acoustic piece in the middle. Their songs are textbook definitions of well-placed dynamic changes, loud/soft, fast/slow, heavy/light. This album is not so much listened to as it is experienced.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED; Undoubtedly a masterpiece of progressive music.
