4 stars John Densmore liner notes are: "A Surgeon General's warning should be stickered on this recording, because Jimbo is ripped! But...but, he is damn passionate and still hits all the cues with the band, so all I can say is, "in vino veritas" (in wine is the trust)".

I think John says it all. Jim is fully loaded and p@@@ed with alcohol. Not for the first time and curtainly not for the last time. Does it affect the shows? Yes and no. Yes, because he misses several lines, the singing is sometimes out of tune and the cues with the band aren't that good... Show one is good, but during the second show one can hear that Jim had a lot of fun during the pause between the shows (...). No, because a drunken Jim is much more entertaining than a sober Jim. The sex, drugs and rock n roll drips of the cd's. Jim messes up several lines but quickly does something brilliant during the next lines. This is why we love The Doors, this is why everybody wants to attend a live show - this is Jim Morrison.

And God, how I wish I was there...
