LIZARD

Peculiarly underrated by some, this is one of KC's finest moments. Stand out tracks Cirkus and Lizard, KC's only 20 minute + song, make the album worth owning by themselves. That's not to say that the tracks in between disappoint, though. They show a different side to the band, however, much as the middle three tracks of Wish You Were Here do Pink Floyd.

Overall the album is difficult to fault, hence the five star rating. It's not too inaccessible, leaving out the improvisations that make Starless a more challenging listen, nor is it bland and mainstream. In fact, far from it. If you're just getting into the band, make it one of your first buys.
