Beware !! It's not so bad as they told you ! To be honest, the only horrible thing here is the awful cover... Nasty. The only thing about this record is ELP tried avoiding their long suites and approaching to a more straight rock. So we get a batch of short songs, but I can still find most of ELp hooks on them. Only the long solos are missing. There's even the classical adaptation ("Canario"), wich isn't bad at all. Overall, a very nice album, though not the best place to start with ELP.
