shantiq like
4 stars Very pleasant opus full of semi-operatic turnarounds sotto voce then accelerando/accelerato or even agitato possibly bellicoso once or twice ; right at the start of the first number after a silent few seconds leaps on you like a cracked-out tiger ; balletic in tone; danceable; touch of Yes ... Japan ... David Sylvianesque voice in parts then to track 06 a touch of Alice Cooper's School's Out almost but not quite sampled ... a dark moody film noir very filmic in many places then a touch of Queen again not sampled just a suggestion an overtone undertone a feeling... The music glides like a large production .. Cecil B De Mille in 2015 leaping from cloud to cloud ... It reminds me of a band called Frames [see Bio on Progarchives] also German ... beautiful melodic and ass-kicking ....
