Foxy like

I love this album. From Mussorgsky's point of view it may sound as if made by savages, but who cares. There are a lot of high moments on this record. It is very conceptual in musical way, it really sounds like one piece of music. Musicianship is superb. Lake's Sage is a brilliant stylisation of a Russian romance of 19th century. Emerson plays magnificently on Old Castle/Blues Variations. Baba Yaga's piece is very moody and theatrical in a good way. And final Nutrocker is a good joke. Highly recommended.
