5 stars Well, if in Literature you are very fond of the Hellenistic poetry, i.e. you like a light texture, inlaid of precious quotations, including the agonizing and, equally, covertly ironic complaint of Polyphemous for Galatea, you probably already know the Gentle Giant's music; if not, you have to listen to "Three Friends", the third album, that will be surely indicated as a good specimen of their music: starting from the first tune, "Prologue", a mind-blowing ouverture with its harmonic variato continua, passing through the hypnotical and oneiric "Schooldays", to the final "Three Friends", a sort of aerial Lost world's valley, in which you drift, after having made a rythmical and a long walk "through restless foliage and tall trees". Five stars, of course.
