5 stars Quite possibly the finest and the most definitive "krautrock" album of all time. Not a single second or even a note is out of place. If you need to know why so many people find the krautrock movement to be a constant source of wonder and delight it is because of albums such as this.

Repeated playing reveals delight after delight. These guys hit the jackpot on this album and alas the follow up album is frankly woeful. This is not just one of this genres finest albums. It (gulp) is one of the greatest albums ever. Had the Floyd made this it would have knocked DSOM into a cocked hat. Guitar , vocals and especially the percussion are to die for. This, truly the rarest of beasts. A true lost classic.
