NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING

No Prayer for the Dying was the one of the first heavy metal albums that i got to listen to. I don't think there is much to be said about this record except that it's metal all the way. Guitar solo-s here and there, overhead vocals, dynamic rhythm, nasty and bad attitude, it's got everything a typical heavy metal album has to contain. Iron Maiden can do better than that but I guess this kind of music was never meant for meditation. It's just a fine audition while you are traveling by train, car, not plane (because the sound isn't loud enough). The best songs are Mother Russia, The Assassin and Bring Your Daughter... to the Slaughter. It has almost nothing to do with prog, but a good album nonetheless.
