4 stars Ever since UNION, I found myself getting the Current YES cds listen to them, then as each new CD comes out I forget about the last one and not play it again. The Ladder is a Tremenodus exception, Out of all the recent YES material, I listen to that quite often, It has a more polished sound than "OPEN YOUR EYES" and has all the YES ingredients on the album. The showy Keyboard playing is here in the form of Maestro Igor Kherochev!! They say that no one can take Wakemans mantle, but here is the exception. Jon Andersons spiritual lyrics are on tap here which is quite refreshing. The disc kicks off great with "Homeworld" and ends on a softer note with 9 voices. 90125, BAHHHH!!! The Ladder is the BEST of the Recent materials
