Peter's big commercial success! This is a very enjoyable album for me. He slightly leaves behind the style he had been creating over his last two albums and changes direction again. Peter is never one to stay with the same thing. That's partly why I think he left Genesis (I walked out of the machinery). He is constantly evolving himself and his music. This album still has influences of world music but not as much as his previous outings. My favorite tracks here are "In Your Eyes", "Mercy Street", and "This is the Picture (Excellent Birds)". Everyone knows "In Your Eyes". Youssou's vocal solo is astounding. I don't think there's a weak song on here. Peter can do it all.
